TIFF red carpet: Channing Tatum, Ari Graynor, and Scott Porter from the movie “Ten Year” reveal who they would choose to go to a reunion with

The film “Ten Year” tells the story of high school friends reuniting for their 10 year reunion. While comparisons may be drawn to movies like “The Big Chill” or “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion” due to similar themes of reflection on past selves, “Ten Year” stands apart with its exceptionally attractive cast. The ensemble, including Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Justin Long, Ari Graynor, Kate Mara, Brian Geraghty, Lynn Collins, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Noonan, and Scott Porter, turned heads on the red carpet at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) to promote the film. And there were likely even more cast members present, but we couldn’t count them all on our fingers.

During interviews, we asked the cast members which of their co-stars they would choose to attend a reunion with. Here are their answers:

Lynn Collins, who wore a stretchy black Alberta Ferretti dress, immediately declared: “Ari! She’s the most fun, coolest, bad-ass chick ever.” When we informed Ari Graynor, dressed in Dolce and Gabbana, about Collins’ choice, she jokingly responded that they would probably be voted “Most likely to be sitting in a corner whispering.” As for what they would be whispering about, Graynor playfully suggested it could range from serious conversations about boys to larger life questions.

Scott Porter, known for his role as Jason Street in “Friday Night Lights,” surprised us with his answer to the reunion/cast question: “I’ve already attended my reunion with one.” It turns out he went to high school with the film’s writer and director, Jamie Linden. The idea of making a film about their own reunion was something they discussed while working together on their first film, “Dear John,” which also starred Channing Tatum.

Speaking of Tatum, who received enthusiastic screams from fans throughout the red carpet event, the handsome and gracious actor revealed that his choice for a reunion companion would be Chris Pratt. Tatum expressed, “He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met in my life. There are a lot of funny people in this movie, and he’s the funniest guy. He has a huge heart, I love the guy.” Amidst the continued calls from fans, the cast was guided inside to continue their reunion with their film.
